Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded a statement of attainment in the following units:

• PUAFER001 Identify, prevent and report potential facility emergency situations
• PUAFER002 Ensure facility emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented
• PUAFER004 Respond to facility emergencies
• PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control team
• PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation
• PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility

Course Duration, Delivery & Fees

Course Duration

2 – Day face to face training.
9.00am – 4pm at our Sutherland Shire Training Centre. 
Practical course component – use of fire extinguishers to extinguish a live fire.

Course Delivery

This course can also be delivered in your workplace, or at a training facility.

Payment Terms / Refunds

Payment Terms

Individuals are required to pay their course fees before commencing their study. Groups and organisations will be invoiced for their training and will be required to pay according to the invoice terms.

Refund Policy

• Students who cancel their booking 10 days prior to the commencement of their training course are entitled to a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the start of a course – 50% refund to cover processing costs.
• Cancellations made after a training program has commenced are not refundable.

Entry Requirements

Participants in this course must be physically capable of:

• assessing a facility to identify hazards and prevent emergency situations;
• ensuring facility emergency systems are implemented;
• conducting an evacuation and providing assistance to those in need;
• taking on a leadership role, giving clear directions under emergency conditions, making decisions appropriate to the situation and keeping others appropriately informed; and
• undertaking risk management procedures and using and re-stowing initial response equipment.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

To complete any nationally accredited training in Australia, it is a requirement that you have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). You can register for a free USI at usi.gov.au

If a USI is not supplied and verified, a statement of attainment cannot be issued to you upon completion of your training.
