When a fire alarm occurs, the app automatically activates all user mobile phones that have joined the building or precinct emergency group. On every alarm activation, EVAC One will automatically progress through each stage of the fire alarm system Alert and Evacuation stages. Evac One will display crucial warden and staff site specific procedures and their location in the building and assembly areas. QR Codes and NFC TechonologyEvac one uses QR Code and NFC Technology to further communicate and facilitate easy to follow emergency procedures to those who need it. Unique building and area QR Codes can be generated at the push of a button and displayed on Evacuation Diagrams, lecture theatres, classrooms and administration desks. Staff members can be directed to simply scan or tap their closest QR Code which automatically activates Evac One. The user will then be relayed site-specific emergency procedures and their location and assembly areas in real time. Gone are the days of permanent Fire Wardens being located in specific areas of a building. Hundreds of workplaces currently use Evac One to relay area specific emergency procedures to Fire Wardens and staff even when they are not working in the office.
